The Institute of Applied Learning (IAL) is one of New Zealand’s oldest Private Training Establishments. Operating since 1988, IAL has 23 years of educational tradition – knowing what industry needs and then providing relevant industry related educational qualifications. This is why IAL is the preferred choice of an ever increasing number of domestic students and international students from all over the world
Institute of Applied Learning is providing relevant industry related educational qualifications. IAL classes provide a learning environment with a strong emphasis on student support; working closely with and providing guidance and advice to students on a daily basis and providing reports on individual progress and achievement twice per term
IAL works closely with business and industry in identifying how well IAL is delivering the knowledge, confidence and skills required to gain employment relevant to their fields of study. IAL is committed to the success and well being of all its students, their educational success and the achievement of their goals. A range of extra-circular activities provide cultural experiences, friendships, and long lasting impressions of their learning experience in NZ
IAL has gained ratings of confidence as a result of the November 2011 NZQA EER. Their classes provide a learning environment with a strong emphasis on student support. Qualifications and experience for all courses will provide both local and international work opportunities

Location & Facilities
IAL is located in a large spacious and well equipped campus in suburban Otahuhu, 15 minutes from the airport, CBD, parks and beaches. The IAL campus features free student car parking and is close to the largest retail mall in NZ, restaurants, cafes and shops as well as a central bus station and motorways
