Overview

Birmingham Metropolitan College is unique in its set-up. We have three dedicated teaching directorates - Sixth Form (full-time 16-19 yrs), Adult Learning (full-time and part-time courses for adults 19 yrs +) and METtraining (delivering qualifications and training for companies). Birmingham is the most convenient airport for the College. However, other airports such as Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Midlands etc. are linked with trains and coaches from and to Birmingham. It is also possible to arrive in London on the Eurostar train from Paris or Brussels, which travels through the Channel Tunnel. If you arrive by air, you should follow the signs for 'Arrivals', unless you are transferring to another plane at the same airport. This will take you through to Immigration Control. There are separate channels for passengers who have UK or EU/EEA passports, and for all other passport-holders. Make sure you join the right queue.

If you join us on a full or part-time course we have a range of financial support packages aimed to take the stress out of study. If you are aged 16 years and over you can apply to the Learner Support Fund and the college's Bursary Fund for assistance with a number of course-related expenses.
The level of support will depend on your individual circumstances.

Terms and conditions apply. You must be studying an ESFA funded course or be in receipt of an Advanced Learning Loan to access bursary support. Speak to a member of your local Student Services team for further details.

Courses Offered
The College offers a comprehensive choice of courses for 16-19 year olds, adult learners and companies, ranging from GCSEs, NVQs, A Levels, Access to HE, HNDs and Professional qualifications, amongst others. Our campuses are located across the northside of Birmingham; in Birmingham town centre, Sutton Coldfield, Great Barr and Erdington, plus a dedicated Design Centre a few minutes walk from Sutton Coldfield town centre.
